We've created a whole new area for supporters, from here you can find resources to promote events, 'how to' guides, and the reports on how routes are being used. Over the next few weeks we will be starting regular newsletters too to help you keep up with what is happening. There's also a new supporters FAQ section to help with those tricky questions.
Walk England are committed to identifying and mapping 2,012 Walk4Life Miles by 2012 - the project is inspired by London 2012. Along with other Active Travel Events you can see where some of the Walk4Life Miles are on the London 2012 website. You can get your miles on the website too.
Over one thousand new walks were added to the Walk4Life website during February and March - we picked one of those walks at random and are pleased to announce that Ms Karren Hodgson from County Durham is the lucky winner of a £100 Go Outdoors voucher!
As the weather improves, and the days get longer, there really is no excuse not to walk to school, or indeed to work. There will be lots of activity leading up to Walk to School week on 16th to 20th May, and of course to Walk to Work week on 9th to 14th May.
