The very eagle-eyed among you will have noticed that a new word has appeared on the bottom navigation bar on our home page - "widget". What on earth is it, and what does it do ?
Over the next few weeks we're asking website users to complete a short survey on the site - it's nothing difficult - we just want to find out if the site is helping people walk more. We know, of course, that everyone is always doing surveys, and people get fed up of being asked to fill them in ... so we thought we'd offer a bit of an incentive.
We all love water, there is nothing nicer than walking along the side of a sparkling stream or a gentle river. But of course our waterways are really important for wildlife too. It's great to see Walking for Health groups starting to use the site. Creating a group page is a fabulous way to find new members, and of course to share information with your existing members.
