1000 miles walked, 10,000 walks !

This week we have our first site user who has recorded over 1000 miles walked ! We also passed our 10,000 walks milestone ! But it isn't all about big numbers, the sun is starting to appear and walking events are springing up everywhere.

We know, of course, that everyone is always doing surveys, and people get fed up of being asked to fill them in ... so we thought we'd offer a bit of an incentive.

Walking on water, well alongside it anyway ...

We all love water, there is nothing nicer than walking along the side of a sparkling stream or a gentle river. But of course our waterways are really important for wildlife too. In recognition of this the WWF have recently announced their Blue Mile campaign - raising money to protect the world's watery habitats by travelling a mile on them.
