| Walk Description: | This is one of the greenest parts of the Capital Ring with just a few hundred yards of road walking along the whole five miles. The walk follows an old railway line to Finsbury Park and then the C17th New River, designed to bring water from Amwell in Ware to New River Head in Islington, passing reservoirs and several lakes before arriving in cosmopolitan Stoke Newington. Could be muddy so please wear appropriate footwear. |
