Help Offered
Trainee Journalist Kathryn Watts volunteers with the network hub and is happy to help groups write press releases. She is happy to be contacted directly by volunteers who have events arranged and need them promoting- her email address is kwatts@hotmail.co.uk.

Her advice to walk leaders is “always try and find an angle. The themed walks, especially the historic ones get everyone interested. Also it’s good to know about an event a good 2 or 3 weeks in advance.”
Its also good to have quotes from walkers. Why not ask amongst your regular walkers or use one from our 2011/12 Annual report.
