The Walk4Life survey has closed, and we have a winner ! We're delighted to be sending out the Cottages4you vouchers, and hope our winner will find some good walks close to whichever cottage she chooses to stay in (I note some of our team are already recommending their favourite cottages !).

The lucky winner is Joy Podbury from Kent. Joy's favourite walks are based around the villages of Penshurst and Chiddingstone, both of which have good pubs which is as good a reason as any to walk between the two!

Both also have good places to visit, including Penshurst Place and Chiddingstone Castle which looks wonderful. One of Joy's favourite walks starts from Chiddingstone - called Trevor's Walk after the friend who introduced her to it. 

We are delighted, too, that the survey shows how many of you are using the site, and how it is making it easier for you to find where to walk. Lots of you have created your own walks, and searched for walks. Fewer people are using the site to look for walking events, or to keep a track of their walking progress. We'll be using the information from the survey to help us improve the website - thanks to everyone who completed the questionnaire.
